Logitech bought them out a few years ago and from what I've heard this is on par for Logitech to do. They'll buy out a company and slowly over time just phase out their core components essentially killing the brand. Look at the new A50 X that released, you can barely find any Astro branding on it an

If this helps, my top 3 headsets are, in no particular order (rankings below), the Astro A50’s, the Audeze Maxwell and the new SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Elite - with the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless right behind ‘em. Here are my breakdowns, as someone that owns all of them (well, minus the Nova Pro Wi

Here’s my opinion as a console user… I just returned my A50 headset to Best Buy and swapped to the A50x. If there's any sound difference between the 2 due to the bit rate - it's very minor imo (but I have 58 year old ears with a lot of concert time on them). I just wanted the ability to have chatmix

I recommend Maxwell 1 over 2, because 1 simply sounds better and has wider frequency range. The new SLAM tech on the Maxwell 2 (down to 30hz) makes it lose bass compared to Maxwell 1 (down to 10hz). PS: The 10hz ~ 50khz on the Maxwell 2 is false advertisement. I absolutely can not recommend the A50/

I am seriously starting to think Logitech is killing the Astro brand. Maybe they had contractual obligations that required them to produce what was on the drawing board at the time of acquisition? That sentence had a bunch of fancy words in it that I barely understand I hope what I’m saying makes se

I'm so tired of this dance. I did that 3 times before with the A50. Also, returning to Amazon is an exhaustable resource. Moreso the higher in value the item is. I don't want to get put on Amazon's naughty list just because Logitech makes a shit product.

Astro A50 X has a completely different sound than the older models before they got bought out by logitech. Its a decent headset but you need to use "Steel series sonar" to make it sound like the OG Astros.

Still no issues? Few months back I tried 1x A50X and 2x A50 Gen 5, all of them had the white noise so I just gave up and bough Logitech G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED. So if there is new revision that fixed the issue I will try again. A50 are the perfect headset for me but that white noise is dealbreaker....

I would not recommend this headset!!! First pair I bought the left ear sound went completely out in 2 days. Second pair that was sent the sound cuts in and out and a lot of muffled sounds. They are very comfortable and great features but what good is that if they don’t work. The price you pay for th

No I ended up keeping them since I didn’t want to give up the simultaneous blutooth, I also used an eq and got stealthz earpads and I like them a lot more. I also tried on a friends Logitech g522 which is essentially identical to the a20x and preferred the a50 over it, or at least once I got the new
