We are all weirdly okay with computer cameras needing a way to cover the lens.

I bought a cover for my webcam, a Logitech C920 I think. Barely cost anything, but I was always wondering if I actually needed it. I did some digging around and managed to turn on the webcam and then turn off the LED, while the webcam was still active. All in software, 15 minutes of fiddling around

YSK if someone asks "what camera should i get for streaming" the answer isnt actually about cameras

I have been using a logitech c920 for many many years, even upgraded to a business Logitech c930. It looked nice but the software would set "auto white ballence" an make it laggy no matter if I had enough light in my room or not. I would have to turn it off EVERY TIME I STARTED MY COMPUTER!!! Why Lo

Webcams where you can switch off auto focus?

I'm 4 months late to this, but wanted to chime in with my experience. For reference: Have been using a C920 connected via a lenovo docking station. (Was enjoying a Caldigit TS4 for a while, but for whatever reason it's incompatible with the new PC my job issued me a year ago.) My personal PC is a De

Webcam upgrade from Razer Kiyo

True, that's what I'm doing at present with my mice... using an old copy of Synapse that's only semi-bloated when I need to change settings (virtually never) and using OpenRGB to control the lighting the rest of the time. Far as I knew, the Elgato cams also saved their settings internally? It was ju

Why are (no)-Logitech still allowing retailers to sell webcams that are not supported by current versions of Windoze or themselves (No-Logic(tech))?????????

The g-hub logitech app allows a picture to display, but it will not fix the constant autofocus problem .. You use it in any other program n it just comes back - Even when u turn the function off in g-hub? I just found out that they still selling it on their own website too even tho that state suppor

Logitech Options + Is the most broken software I have ever used - Windows

Seriously! I use computers all the time including advanced design software. How is it that there is no frigging record button in t the software? That is the most un-intuitive thing in the world! I have logitech capture with my old c920 and right on the display there is a record button and all the op

Insta360 Go 3S: Use it as a webcam too

With insta360 go 3s in webcam mode and obstudio there no customizable parameters for luminosity, saturation, contrast, white exposure, zooming which makes it useable to create content (worse than my old logitech c920 hd webcam) I know it is an action camera, but you could have develop , unlock the setti

Problems with the logitech c920 after Windows 11 Update

no advice here works for me and Logi Options+ is just worthless marketing, it sees the c920 - thanks for nothing.the camera works fine, not the mic, even though everything seems to be in place, mic test replays nothing, test in a chat client like discord reports mic issue (it knows it's not working)

Piranha for the win

I guess I just doubt the bottom USB C port is only 5 Gb/s USB 3.0. Given what the Tegra T239 is capable of and some leaked data I would assume they were using USB 4 40 Gb/s on the bottom port. That has enough bandwidth for everything stated. It's certainly possible that Nintendo is using RAW and if
