I'm confused by some choices here. Why would LG Gram and Vaio be above Dell? Do Either LG or Vaio ship laptops with Linux? Because Dell absolutely does.

I have a LG Gram with the worst implementation (performance wise) of the i5-1035G7 in a LG Gram 17 laptop. It has like 2cm of copper from the CPU to the tiny-ass fan. The Intel graphics use 4 year old drivers because it automatically rolls back when I update. BAR literally gives me a loading screen

Unfortunately this is an issue with these Grams, yes. But to be fair I've had the same problem over the years with other brands of laptops & PC motherboards - the drivers available often are: Not complete Wrong version/cause a functional issue and have to be rolled back In the case of my Gram 17 Pro

I believe the only gram with a nvidia gpu is the 17" that does not fold and comes with the lowest entry level 5050. LG has a page for their models for "co-pilot pc's":https://www.lg.com/us/lg-gram-copilot-plus-pc-laptops I see no use in copilot myself, but, obviously someone is pushing it, and if I

I have a 17" Gram that I purchased from Costco during early Covid pandemic--2020 or so. Its model number is 17Z990. I think the battery is dead because when I boot up the computer on AC power it will backlight the keyboard and briefly make a familiar screen image, but the screen image and backlight

The LG smart assistant was wiping any BIOS changes Hi, how did you figure out it was the Smart Assistant? I have the previous generation Gram 17 (i7-1360P) and I can't get the same Cinebench R23 benchmarks as NotebookCheck got. However, I could swear when I first bought my machine it met the reviewe

Is LG reliable for keeping drivers up to date? I agree with the guy below who says they're a bit 'lazy' with them. But I can't say I've had problems with the original drivers. More importantly, will I have issues using the newest driver from Intel? Will LG or Windows updates keep pace? I wouldn't be

LG has always been super slow in adopting new tech, they simply don't prioritize their LG Gram's.

On mine I don't use Chrome, I use Vivaldi (Chromium based). I do not have any issues with Vivaldi, but M$ Teams and Outlook both have serious lag every once in a while. Like if I go to Teams and try to scroll the chat list, it freezes up for a couple seconds. Outlook does the same thing if I scroll
