at 1.46kg it’s significantly heavier than the LG Gram 16 (1.2kg) Having had a couple Grams, as long as it is better built, it is not a drawback. Grams are paperweight because they're also as well built as paper.

As you found out already (but probably too late, after buying this laptop) the processor you got does not support 6000Mhz RAM. But the memory is the least of your problems. Since you are knowledgeable enough to check the memory in BIOS and require a certain performance from your laptop, why on earth

Unfortunately this is an issue with these Grams, yes. But to be fair I've had the same problem over the years with other brands of laptops & PC motherboards - the drivers available often are: Not complete Wrong version/cause a functional issue and have to be rolled back In the case of my Gram 17 Pro

Never liked magnesium on notebooks. They are light, but it always felt cheap and like plastic. LG also used this material on their LG Gram line.

Great laptop but reliability isn't great on that model. The backlight LEDs are (like all laptops) heavily over-driven to give eye-catching brightness. Their light degradation and color shift over time are pronounced. Translation: a used Gram 17" laptop will have an LCD display that is significantly

You guys who add (thick) therma

Thank you for the explanation :) I had no idea about the model numbers. Yeah I'm absolutely not buying directly from LG, their warranty is complete rubbish compared to other retailers. Are you happy with it? I've seen other users complain about the thermal paste and a few other quality issues. My 20

I received the display. Size is great. Build is excellent. Setup was easy, simple. I installed LG Switch to control the diplay. The only issue is that the +view display has "warm" (yellowish) color cast and my LG Gram 17 has a "cool" (blueish) color cast. I wish I could match them but I don't see an

Hi, bro, i have the same problem. Here what i came with: Now i use x1 carbon gen13 - pretty solid build quality, but on firmware/drivers side it's absolute garbage. Around 4-8 hours from battery on frankenDebian, same on Windows. Before thinkpad, i had m1 air 16/512 with Asahi - it works, but needs
