LG announces new OLED TVs at CES — brighter G6, the C6 splits in two, ultra-thin Wallpaper OLED, and the world's first 4K 120Hz cloud gaming TVs
"The LG C6H is only available in 77-inch and 83-inch models, and the crucial difference here is that it uses a Primary RGB Tandem panel – the same kind of panel used in the LG G5, which was LG's flagship from last year. This means it should be majorly brighter than the LG C5 was in those sizes – LG

Here's explained why HDR might look "washed out" compared to SDR
The holy console magic sauce lol. we all have the same problems, PC gets away with it far far easier than any other platform because we have competent HDR fixes and modded implementations. consoles gets peanuts. Look at this shit in SDR on a G5 lol : https://www.reddit.com/r/LGOLED/comments/1n93i44/

My $1400 LG OLED TV is displaying ads after latest update
Absolutely same, I was close to buying an LG G5, sure there are ways to disable this... For now, eventually they will force this. Guess I have to search for a dumb OLED or it's time to start figuring out how to root these TVs and install an open source smart tv OS. The greed is off the charts. We OW

RenoDX Cyberpunk preferences
LG G5? 400 paperwhite probably looks washed out no? I find HDR to pop better below 300nits paperwhite.

LG G5 or S95F allround user?
I was also debating between these two and went with the S95F, for two reasons mainly. The G5 has issues with banding in HDR10 (important for PS5 gaming as HDR10 is what it uses) and all the previous LG OLEDs I've owned in the past have developed dead pixels all around the screen edges over time, som

Brand new TV and this is how my wife insists we have the remote "to keep it looking good"
Hah I’ve got the exact same remote! LG G5 Yeah this is like the people who keep a noisy plastic sheet over their sofa. I can understand keeping thin plastic film on stuff, I’ve kept them on things for a while in the past. But this is just too far… sure it keeps it looking good inside the bag, but it

G6 HDR in Windows 11 PC Gaming is completely broken , AVOID this years LG OLEDS at all costs if you PC game *WARNING*
Give it a second OP, LG is known for having issues at the start, G5 had many complaints at the start, now it is mostly fixed. Even the G4 still has issues and 3 days ago a new update came that fixed ps5 pro handshake issues and audio e arc issues of sound going away… Like, LG needs to fix their soft

PS5 Pro + OLED = ProLED
Just returned 2 77' lg g5 because the 5% greys are absolute ass, oled vertical banding in dark and misty scenes in games . Full screen brightness was also disgustingly dim. Vrr flicker. Oled is garbo for gaming.
