Need help picking a monitor

i was in the exact same spot a few months ago. the lg 27gs95qe is a beast for the pro - it's a 27" 4k oled with 240hz and hdmi 2.1, so you're fully set for any game. the colors and blacks are just insane coming from an ips. another one to check is the asus pg27aqdm, also 27" 4k oled with great respo

Gaming Monitor Choice

i've tried both and kept the LG 27GS95QE. colors pop a bit more on the msi but the lg has better text clarity for desktop use. both will last fine - modern oleds have good burn in protection. with a 5080 you really feel that 480hz in fast games. beautiful graphics is right, this thing is insane for

EDID

Is anything wrong? My LG says that but everything is perfect. ICC profile works and everything looks identical to W11 or anything else iv used it on. LG 27GS95QE WOLED. I'm thinking this is a harmless bug that should be ignored. Everything above that failure warning shows that EDID is good.

LG 27GM950B 5K Dual Mode 2304 Zone MiniLED | Hands On / Scaling on Mac Mini

I asked you this because I tried the LG 27GS95QE of my stepbrother to check how the colors would look like. As you said, it was pretty good (almost perfect) in sRGB mode but it looked horrible in HDR mode. But then it's an OLED screen (a two years old one btw), not a MiniLED one... Maybe it uses an

Should I upgrade to 1440p?

For some AAA titles you will fall short, but in general it will work if you use DLSS3. According to my AI, it recommends these: Category Recommended Monitor Refreshment Rate Dashboard Key Points Best OLED (240Hz) MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 / ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG / LG UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE-
