Battery life. The current Apple Silicon Macs are completely unbeatable when it comes to battery life. Heat/fan noise. The M chips produce much less heat than a typical x86 CPU. Premium feeling/build quality. I have yet to use a Windows laptop that feels as premium as a MacBook (and I own a Lenovo Yo

S14 no doubt, the 7735HS is not great. At 820CAD that Asus is a STEAL and I would buy it without hesitation. (I'm Australian). Definately worth over double the price of the HP. I chose a Yoga Pro 9i for my studies/gaming/coding(gave up on coding) and its battery life is horrific. If that Asus was an

I recently purchased the lenovo 9i yoga aura edition. It is a 2 in 1 meaning it's functions as laptop and a tablet. It came with a pen and has touch screen capabilities. It folds to allow tablet functionality. I AM IN LOVE!!!! Because I know that I'll be in school for the next few years, I tried to

Because the FW12 is already so close to something that we (power users) could want. Also, a FW12 Pro would be distinct from the FW12, so I don't get what the issue is. We're not asking them to change the FW12. Had Framework added an option or something for a 2-in-1 hinge for the FW13 Pro, we wouldn'

It's no different than installing Linux on any other device! Experience wise there's a couple gotchas as is typical of newer hardware. HDR doesn't work out the box but the fix is almost out and there's workarounds [1] [2]. I had a weird issue where display blanks for a second after waking from suspe

I hop between both a MacBook Pro and premium Windows laptop (previously a Surface, lately a Yoga Pro 9i) and I find the trackpad feel and functionality to be pretty comparable. I kind of prefer the Yoga Pro's because it's so quiet. The keyboards on the Surface and the Yoga Pro are also far better, i

I got the yoga 9i 2in1 with intel ultra 7 258v process because Lenovo decided not to deliver me the yoga 7. I would have to say the yoga 9 is so premium I love everything about it the hinges seem sturdy and the touch screen is really smooth and responsive. The processor is incredible especially the

CachyOS is the best I've found (Gnome is my preferred DE). On a Yoga 9i that's a couple years old, I can get 7 hours of real world use. Mac like battery life is a pretty high bar. Those are incredible in that respect.
