L490. Worst chassis quality of the bunch, but there are 2 DDR4 slots, up to 64Gb RAM. All of the X ones are soldered-in¹ 8Gb, which will be a bottleneck. ¹ sources: L490, X390, X13 Intel, X13 AMD

I daily a X390 Yoga and i can't stand to write on those thin things. Lenovo stop using real good comfortable keyboards when they start producing only slim models. Can't even compare to the keyboard of a T460 or X260, for example.

Trash. Absolute trash. Especially for an active life style. A yoga style makes sense. I can't do the detachables that has no weight in the keyboard. Try using it on your lap. So you need a little flip out thing to use it on your desk. But a lap or anything, forget it. Putting everything in a tablet

As MagicBoyUK mentioned this machine is on the inner edge of fifteen years old and isn't going to be a very good experience at basically anything. I would put zero dollars into it unless you plan on running it as an offline windows 7 machine. Dell Latitude 5490, 5400, 7490, and 5400 (Intel 8th gen f

under $100? To the extent possible, go for 8th generation or newer for official 11 support and also because the 8th gen U-series CPUs are just way faster than the 7th gen (the quad makes a surprising difference) and because almost all 8th gen hardware fully supports external power with usb-c power d

Thanks for the answer :) I am using the thunderbolt 3 workstation dock gen 2. The dock itself is working properly since it does not give any issue with my X390. I already checked the screen refresh and it was set to be 60hz all the time, in fact the screen going off and on was not related to unplugg

I have exactly the same issue with my x390 yoga. Wasted at least 72HRs installing different windows relases and drivers. On linux however it works FLAWLESS. Fedora 43 with KDE with the laptop display + 2 different DELL monitors - 29UW and 27inch one. Dock is Lenovo 40AN. Also it tends to OVERHEAT in

No, not in 2025. Avoid it at any cost. Save your own time. Take any ThinkPad with resolution 1920x1200 (it is called "FHD+" sometimes), at least, and with 32GB RAM, at least. SSD is not so important, if it is 2280 (check it in advance), because it can be upgraded to PM9A1a or to previous generation

Your original problems with it were the keyboard, heat, screen (I'm assuming you mean wobbly hinges), and USB-C port, and battery life, right? Heat is more or less normal, and so is battery, which can be replaced. But for the rest, it's up to you. If you can't stand it (yeah I wouldn't be able to to

A ThinkPad for € 200 with dual RAM slots, dual drive support, and T series build quality, does not exist, when you exclude a T480. You’ll need to compromise somewhere. Between T480 and T14 G5, there are no T series with dual open RAM slots. T14 Gen 1 AMD can support a second 2242 NVMe drive, via its
