On modern systems W11 has way better battery life than Linux. I probably get 1.5-2hrs more on Windows than on KDE Fedora on my X1 carbon gen 9. Linux also has zero deep sleep states and drains my battery with the lid closed, much faster than W11 does. The downsides of Linux on newer hardware I guess
