I've got a t440p and one of the hp envy teeny tiny laptops right now and honestly I'll go for the t440p any day. The benefits of soldered components are pretty mcuh just that it allows a smaller form factor any cost saving isn't passed on to me. Plus the t440p is small enough to fit into a back pack

I have the original hdd caddy from lenovo, found someone selling a bunch of new old stock from 2016 a while back. I don't think the generic ones will have a screw hole but they should stay in place fairly well regardless. I saw somebody else in this thread mention the trackpad replacement. If you wa
