Thoughts on ASUS TUF B650M, a Thunderbolt 5 card & an TB eGPU?
You might consider the ThinkPad T1g Gen 8. It has a gaming GPU instead of a professional GPU (more expensive, less powerful, certified drivers for CAD/CAM used to be called Quadro).
