Lenovos hardware support is top tier, but when you have software issues... Eh. It feels like they don't give a damn no matter how many people report the same issues. One example: Some P16 series (P16v Gen2 in my case) fail to sleep. You close the lid, the fans keep spinning and the battery is flat i

Dear long poster, the difference of plugging peformer 5+2 from macbook pro m4 to lenovo p16v is so big that even a total amateur would notice it (i dare to say at least -2db reduced highs and some weird mids) so yes, everyone could hear what I mentioned. So I hear the difference between apple dac or

The thing is, I contacted Lenovo Support via live chat, and the support confirmed for me that the P16v Gen 2 uses a high-quality thermal paste (not PTM 7950), and the CPU can reach 90°C under high CPU stress. The laptop is for a friend, and I am a Lenovo Legion user. When I first bought my laptop, w

i believe so, but havent dont it yet Below was my comparison of the new gen and my P16v gen 2 to see what the new best lenovo panel was, and while its officially a P16v Gen 2 screen would also work for probably everyone else at 16" too. https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/1o60eij/can_you_change

It was my choice 🙂 First, I wanted the P16s with Ryzen 9 + 4k screen (the only one higher than 1200p) but Lenovo limits 4k screens to Ryzen 5 and 7 configurations only (which is very strange). I've waited for the new P16v and P16 laptops to be released in September but P16v is only sold with a dGPU

I really like Lenovo/thinkpad laptops. Always getting them at work. Now with a P16v. It’s ok but the fan run a little too much for my taste. For personal use my MacBook Pro M5 will arrive this week. I love MacBooks too. OSX is a great Os. I almost bought a Lenovo x270 but it was too slow when I try
