I just got my P14s Gen 6 Intel last week. I was choosing between the AMD and Intel versions and I chose Intel. Here’s what I’ll say. The average efficiency of AMD is going to be better. Intel had to go up to 14 cores with the Ultra 5 225H (what I have) and the Ultra 7 255H (which might have 16 cores

I once found a ThinkPad X270 at my school, literally thrown into a trash container without RAM or a disk. I grabbed it and tried to revive it by installing some spare RAM from another laptop, but it didn’t turn on. I was really sad and had no idea how to fix it, so I just stored it in my room like a

Just note, that UK price doesn't include an OS, you'd need to buy a Windows 11 license. But there are cheap completely legitimate licenses out there. P14s G5 AMD is a T14 G5 AMD only with AMD's performance drivers, making it a faster machine, but at the cost of lower battery life and higher temperat

ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 AMD.

I have the ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 (AMD) with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The only downside I’ve noticed is the battery life — the 52 Wh battery only gives about 4 hours of real-world use. Since you have the Intel version and mentioned the build quality is different, do you think it’s worth paying extr

Should be the same as T14, albeit with higher memory cap, verified software suite and slightly more aggressive tuning. https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/ThinkPad/ThinkPad_P14s_Gen_5_AMD/ThinkPad_P14s_Gen_5_AMD_Spec.pdf Should be better again, as long as you have the 52.5wH battery..

If I am right, it is the P14s Intel gen 5/6 that have a different built (full aluminium / 2 fans). For me, T14 Intel/AMD gen 5/6 have the same case than P14s AMD gen 5/6. It is the well know Thinkpad case reinforced with magnesium. It is lighter than the one in full aluminium. If you compare Intel 1

52Whr battery on AMD versions is not really a problem. Don't look only at numbers. Check the reviews. AMD processors are efficients and battery life depends on processors TDP (energy consumption), screen, etc. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-P14s-G4-AMD-review-fast-portable-straightfor
