Mid-range laptop options
I was in Best Buy recently. They are having some sales right now. They had a nice Asus Vivobook with Ryzen 7 ai cpu as well as a Thinkpad E16 with a Ryzen 7 or intel ultra core 7. They should be a good value. Walmart USA had a nice Ideapad Slim 3 with a Ryzen 8800 series. https://www.walmart.com/ip/

Lighter T16 Gen 4?
I doubt an extra 70g will be noticeable when moving the machine around (for the base config), however I would be concerned if you’re looking at a neat 2KG config.. Could look at E16/L16 as well, if you want to save some money, can economise on features and save some weight.. https://www.notebookchec

Is this a good laptop for music production and everyday use?
It's not bad. But if you want a bit better performance-price ratio, you can also check out this Lenovo ThinkPad E16 for 849 usd. It has CPU AMD Ryzen 5 7530U, integrated GPU Radeon Vega 7, 40GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 16-inch IPS display with a practical 16:10 aspect ratio, fingerprint reader, backlit keyboar

I genuinely have no idea where to start when building. Where do I begin?
I would recommend one of three options: A. You save your money until market conditions are better or until you have about 1.5k saved so you can get yourself something that will last you years and can upgrade. B. You buy piecemeal, get a GPU and some RAM asap as those are going to surge in price due

Recommendations for college
Take a look at these below. ThinkPad's are durable and well built and spec'd. The 16inch offers better performance, while the 14 inch is a bit less powerful in favour of form factor. However, both are good Windows 11 machines. I've included a MacBook Air as a potential option. The build and durabili

Qual notebook ultrafino comprar?
Oi, tudo bem?

This is the MacBook Neo's competition btw 😭
You are correct, even though I was mainly talking about the HP Laptop. Though, I think we could all agree that most mid-range windows laptops have greater repairability than apple's whole lineup... BTW what about all the other points I made, those still stand no? Also a comparison for a windows lapt

What laptop do you all recommend for a communications major?
Maybe add your budget re price goal and any flexibility to go 10 or 15% over the goal. I have liked the Ryzen 7 laptops. I bought an Ideapad with a Ryzen 7 5700 a few years ago. It seems that these new snapdragon windows machines have gotten good review now that these laptops have been out for a whi
