ThinkPads aren't really for gaming. The cheapest new ThinkPad on Lenovo's website is the E14 Gen 7 with a Core 5 210H, but it only has 8GB of RAM for over $800. I wouldn't recommend buying a new ThinkPad just because the prices are so high when they are initially released.

It's not the E14 that has improved, more like how hard the T14 has degraded in rigidity and reliability in general. Lenovo is speedrunning the murder of ThinkPads. At this point, it would simply be much more economical to buy a ThinkBook, especially with how the ThinkBook 14+ 2026 has a 99.9Wh batte

Ja, der Laden hat sich bei mir gemeldet und gesagt, dass das Notebook nicht mehr verfügbar sei und hat mir ein völlig unverschämtes Angebot für ein alternatives Gerät gemacht. Das habe ich dankend abgelehnt und danach mein Geld wiederbekommen. Hab unten mal den letzten Mailverlauf angehängt. -------

I love ThinkPad. Hade ThinkPad for 12 years now. E-series was ther budget model and always really acceptable prices, until 2025. I wanted to buy the E14 gen 7 beacusu the 2.8k display - but I don't accept the new nuts prices. 2000 USD no way!! 700 USD 9 years ago. So Fck off Lenovo.
