If you haven't yet, please read this: The Myth of the ThinkPad – Innovintage The True Soul of ThinkPad is that they are an economic process that happens with all business-oriented computing equipment, and many business-oriented tools in general. Companies buy these things thousands at a time, use th

Bought E14 Gen 6 in November 2025 through Lenovo official web. One of the best purchase in my life. This is my First laptop. Ordered as a DOS customised laptop, installed Fedora KDE and using it for coding and normal college works. Love it!

Just to give you another option: I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad E14 with Intel 255h CPU. This cpu might be better than the Ryzen and has a better gpu on top. Max RAM (not soldered) is 64gb. The Screen is my highlight so far. It has about 6-10 hours of battery depending on the workload. I never had any i

For $600 in Europe (Windows only), look for these solid office picks: Lenovo ThinkPad E14 / E15 (Ryzen 5 preferred) – great keyboard, reliable HP ProBook 445/450 G9 – good build, business-class Acer Aspire 5 (Ryzen 5 or i5) – best value, easy to find Dell Inspiron 14/15 (Ryzen 5) – decent all-rounde

P.S. I am tech savvy, really like to tinker around with upgrades and what not, that’s why I’m pondering on the 14s since it has limited upgradability. Despite that, you do get a taller 16:10 display, decently robust chassis (lower half is all magnesium, instead of PPS/CFK), the most powerful iGPU he

There's no E14 with dGPU and certainly not with a RTX2000 Ada (workstation GPU). Look at the Intel PSREF and AMD PSREF. In this sub, we'll never recommend an Ideapad because those are consumer, way lower quality line, with cheaper materials. Having said that, if you intend to run VMs, get the one wi

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 OLED New, that is about an $1,800 laptop. Paying a lot of money for a GPU that you'll never use outside of a weekend of smashing passwords. You want a ThinkPad. https://www.lenovo.com/us/outletus/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpade/lenovo-thinkpad-e14-gen-6-14-inch-amd/21m3x009us T
