Upgrading CachyOS to linux7.1.6 can cause screen freezing

Vermintide over darktide
A 2023 lenovo legion pro 5i for both of us. RTX 4060 with 8gb VRAM, i7 13700HX, 16GB ddr4 I think? Runs darktide on max settings with no issue, most intensive games at max or very high with no issue (I always turn off Ray tracing where it's available by default so idk if it'd do it with it on).
