Legion go S battery life is actually pretty good!

Hmmm... Many things I can say are great about my legion go s... Battery life isn't one of them. I mainly play connected or plugged (edit, voice to text typed F word) and the few instances I'm not, I'm lugging about a 25000mah battery pack. I truly wished Lenovo had bitten the bullet and tried out a

Legion Go or Steam Deck OLED?

Depends what you’re looking to get out of a handheld. Steam Deck is a much simpler experience and much more of a true “handheld”. It runs indies super well with no tinkering. Battery life is great. However its specs are aging and there’s a learning curve when it comes to leveraging SteamOS for mods

Which would you get at these prices?

I’d save a bit more and look at the Xbox Ally X. The Go S is great, but only when it was on sale for $600. The screen is a nice size and the performance isn’t too far behind (still fine). But the battery life is terrible. The Legion Go has a nice screen but it’s too high of a resolution for the APU

Rog ally for a Legion Go?

I’ve had the original Legion Go, Ally Z1E and now Ally X. Legion Go’s screen is pretty great, no doubt about it. Speakers are terrible compared to Ally. Battery is a little worse than Z1E Ally and way worse than X. Detachable controllers on Go are kinda neat, so is the built in stand. The Go is much

Someone explain the Legion Go to me like I’m five

The Legion Go is a handheld gaming PC produced by Lenovo. It has a large 8.8" very high resolution screen, detachable controllers, 16Gb of RAM, 512Gb or 1Tb of memory for the system and your games and runs Windows 11. It released in October 2023. You can now install SteamOS on it if you want but it'

Help me decide between Switch 2 and Steam Deck OLED.

Personally Id suggest the Switch 2.. I was in a similar position and opted for a Lenovo Legion Go , (great handheld, slightly more powerful than the streamdeck and at the time, the price (£300 new) was an absolute steal. Initially got it for indie games, retro emulation and cloud streaming my Xbox l

Is the Rog ALLy Z1 Extreme worth investing in?

It’s been great with updates but there’s new handhelds coming out monthly it seems but for now Asus is keeping there prices although a bit higher WAY more affordable then Lenovo. MSI is about to drop their new handheld and I believe a few others. It will always come down to the chip the battery life

Experience comparison Asus rog ally X (steam os) vs Legion go S (Steam OS 32gb ram)

The ASUS ROG Ally X is generally considered better than the Lenovo Legion Go S, despite the Go S having higher RAM (32GB vs. 24GB). The Ally X offers better battery life, more stable gaming performance, improved cooling, and better software support, making it a better, more robust gaming handheld.

Who Has eGPU to game on Internal Screen? LeGo2 or something similar [RTX 5060 Ti AI Box]

Lenovo raised prices for legion go 2, its 2K now, im not sure it worth it, APEX goes for 2300$ right now, i sold mine for 2250$ and put it aside. If i got for LeGo 2 [second hand,] 1400$ for handheld + amazon price for GPU + extra 200$ for shipping and taxes [amazon charges these in advance] So both

Legion Go 1 or ROG Ally X?

The Legion Go is great as a PC/tabletop/tablet/TV console, but kinda sucks as a handheld. It’s super big, heavy, controller grips are fragile, battery is bad, Lenovo software sucks, and the case takes up half your backpack space. Its versatility is its greatest strength though. The screen makes navi
