Snapdragon X2 Extreme is being bottlenecked by immature drivers and outdated laptop designs

At the same time we need more fanless laptop designs for the X2 Plus and Elite series. My current IdeaPad Slim 5 with X1 Plus has a loud and aggressive fan that should not exist on an ARM machine. PC manufacturers are still reusing old Intel cooling designs instead of building for ARM efficiency. Yo

Ryzen AI 7 350 vs Intel Core Ultra 255H? (Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 vs ASUS Vivobook S14 at ~80k INR)

Go for the vivobook!! The IdeaPad slim 5 is unreliable junk, almost half of the units come from factory with issues and the frame bends easily. (Can confirm personally, I had to return mine 2 times) I switched to the vivobook which is way higher quality.

laptop for engineering student

the heating and fan issue with the Yoga 7i is pretty common — it's more of an everyday productivity laptop than something built for engineering workloads, so it struggles when you push it since you said no refurbished and budget is under $800, the Acer Nitro V 16 is honestly the one i'd look at in t

Buying a new laptop, not sure which specs matter most.

Thank you for the informations. I was currently looking at the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 15ARP10, but I have doubts about its oled screen since I've read that people were disappointed because of the amount of reflections (and since I love watching films, i want to avoid reflections). My ideal budget wou

I tested three Windows laptops in the MacBook Neo’s price range — there’s no contest

I'm wondering how Apple could copy from Lenovo, when they literally were the first to market with an aluminum unibody PC in 2008, and given that every laptop that Apple sells is aluminum. It's not even the same screen size. The IdeaPad Slim 5 is 13.3", this MacBook Neo is 13" flat. The problem, of c
