That's a bit too much to be spending on a laptop as a forensic science major, you won't even be using the features they're making you pay for. Thing is omni books are mainly for people who code and trust me they really do make use of all those nerdy specs, you're just wasting your money though. I wo

Even a 1215u from 2022 chokes on the telemetry, that laptop ran perfectly until this year then I started getting barely 2.5 hours run time and it was slow as hell to use, even after a clean install. Switched it to Linux Mint in early July, and magically the performance issues disappeared and my batt

Ive been in the market for a budget chromebook since my last one broke down, I only use it for streaming sports or watching movies and shows and nothing more so having a good screen is important to me, I asked this reddit earlier and every single person replied saying it needs to have 8GB ram, so ar

I’ve had half a dozen or more Chromebooks over the years. Just ordered this one for $120 USD from BestBuy. I realize the specs are minimal. I plan to use it with Chrome Remote Desktop to access my desktop computer from my easy chair.

Out of those two, I would definitely recommend the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 over the IdeaPad 3i because the 3i has an Intel Celeron processor and Celeron processors are trash. You'll have a much better experience with the IdeaPad Slim 3 with the MediaTek Processor and for $139, that's a very good deal.

Even on HP and Acer laptops it tends to work well now. My Lenovo IdeaPad 3i went from 2.5 hours battery life on Windows 11 to 9+ hours battery life on Linux Mint, no joke the laptop is 2+ years old and the difference is night and day.

Bought the Lenovo Chromebook Plus IdeaPad 3i (Core I3 / 8gb ram / 128 gb storage / 14 inches touchscreen). Very happy with it. Pretty sturdy, very good battery life, good performance. So far I love it. It’s my first Chromebook and I’m using it more than my main Windows computer because it is quick t
