New Leica Q3/43 firmware 4.0.0
Finally getting the SL3-style touch optimized UI, thought this day would never come. Thank you Leica, feels like a new camera now!

Honest review of the Leica SL3 and SL-lenses
I own and SL3, 24-70 leica lens, and 50mm apo lens. I'm not an influencer. The reason I use the SL3 is because it's a Leica and I like what I get out of Leica from a user experience and end result stand point. The build quality, the interface, the settings, the ease of use, it gets out of the way an

Help me choose
I have the907X 100C, which I bought primarily so I could use the back on my 501 and 503. I also own a Leica SL3, Q3 and an M10 Monochrom. The Q3 is an everyday carry. The SL3 is an amazing shooting experience and one that surprised me when I first got it. Both have colors to drool over. My 907X and

Leica SL3 owners, what justifies the 7k price tag for you?
I was a career photojournalist for nearly 30 years and used mostly Canon equipment. The gear was fantastic but after I left the industry, I developed a fascination for Leica cameras and particularly the Q3. I love the simplicity and size and performance. But then I had an itch for an SL camera. The

Has anyone moved from the Leica SL3 to the X2d ii?
I made this exact move… If you only use the sl3 for stills, it’s a no brainer. If you use it as a hybrid at all for video, you’ll have to fill that gap. I sold my sl3 apo35/50 sl and got a lumix s5ii with the Leica 24-70 2.8, and have not looked back. Bonus points for the lumix getting 99.5% of the

Leica SL3-S as main camera?
SL3 is my semi-main in that it’s the one I want to grab unless I need to shoot sports. It’s my favourite camera. Compared to the M though keep in mind it’s going to be much bigger and less discrete. But if you’re looking for Leica experience and interchangeable lenses, with AF - you won’t be disappo

SL2 or A7RIV?
α7rIV. SL2 files at 800 ISO make it tough. Shooting low light is a challenge. The design and ergonomic of it is only rivaled by SL3. Despite the poor low light performance, poor battery, and contrast detection autofocus challenges compared to α7rIV I enjoy holding and shooting SL2 more… The image qu

Thoughts on Leica SL3-S?
In real world experience it’s just work so there is not much about to say by reviewers. The AF is fast enough for flying birds so it’s pretty good. The body is a bit smaller but still enough room for big hand like me. The battery is shared with Leica Q and it’s can be work while charging with power

Honest review of the Leica SL3 and SL-lenses
As someone who knows some of the people that Leica has featured/ are in that “inner circle” (as it seams) I’ll say this. Don’t get it twisted. Majority of those people are not paid and have bought the gear themselves. A lot of the Influencers are making money or getting cameras from the other brands

Advice re: switching from Sony A7IV to Leica SL3S
I recently switched from the Sony A7rV to the Leica SL3 and I’m super glad I made the switch. I was using the Sony with the 35mm 1.4 GM, 85mm 1.4GM, and 70-200 2.8 GM ii. I’m now using the Leica with the 35 APO, 75 APO and some M mount glass. For landscape and nature I love the experience of the Lei
