Yes, my SL2-S is my favourite Leica, brilliant with af lenses, wonderful with manual focus, that screen is amazing.

I love my SL2-S, and it's just as relevant as it was when it was released. As for the choice, I'm sure the Leica-rehab is fine, but you'll never have the same questions about a new one.

Congrats!... My first Leica was the orginal Q, and I've beaten it to death over the last 9 years, and I still love it. Sprang for an SL2s + 50 sumicron and I love that as well. Once you bond with Leica, there really is no other alternative IMHO.

As someone who made the jump from A7 bodies to the SL2-S, it's a very different, better experience. The UI is head and shoulders better on the SL, and there's a consciousness to the design that is missing on most other non-Leica digital bodies.
