X2DII or go deeper into M?

I stopped using my Leica M system completely. Hasselblad XD2/XD2ii and 907X. I just take street/landscape/portrait and pets. For pets, with the animal recognition AF it is a godsend. To me, the XD2ii + 55V or 38V is not significantly larger than a M camera with lens and it comes with AF and great IB

Help deciding

The Q isn’t compact by any means. It’s basically a mirrorless body with a permanent lens attached to it. The X100VI is much smaller and easier to just take with you. But the crown goes to the Ricoh GR series. I’ve never had the original Q but I did have the Q3 and the Fujifilm X100VI. The Fujifilm f

I was offered a GFX100RF trade for my Leica m10 - Would you do it?

Don't do it if you are using a M10 now. Good enough camera, but the lens it is paired with is nothing compared to pretty much any Leica glass. No stabilization in body or otherwise. Was able to try one out when they were first released and I immediately was turned off by the glass. Literally almost

Which Leica camera best complements a Q2 for travel and everyday documentary photography?

I have a Q3 28, an M6, a Canon R5 II, and a Ricoh GR IV Monochrome. They each fill a specific niche for my photography needs. I fully understand your desire to add something else. I’d find the Q3 alone to be too limiting. If I go to a sports event or my daughter’s dance performances, I need the Cano

Seeking camera recommendations please!

lot of suggestions to get a Q, but be aware these are not particularly compact. Lovely cameras but a similar size to your XT5. I don't think any Leica's really fit what you are looking for. A Q3 focal length is a little wide (its 28mm its but not a standard 28mm and more like a 24mm I'd say) not ide

I've only got one SD card since I'm just a hobbyist shooting on a point-and-shoot. How about you? How do you handle it?

Pretty sure all high end glass from sony, sigma, canon nikon can match the qualiy of the leica lenses. And they offer image stabilization and linear motor AF. I dont see any reson to get a manual leica lens ever. Ok, the feel of it maybe. But thats it. On the other side i only see reason for fixed l

How long did it take you to nail the manual focus when shooting action? (Leica Q3 28)

If you're intent on using manual focus, why are you getting the M-EV instead of a regular M? Manual focus with EVF aids is garbage compared to the rangefinder. Laggy, imprecise, requires slow punch-in confirmation, distracting exposure/etc details. If you're chasing fun with manual focus, get the ca
