Best controller for Rocket League on PC?
If you are looking for symmetrical, I would recommend either the Gamesir Tarantula 8k or Leadjoy Saber plus. Both are TMR, launching soon and have JS13 Pro joysticks, so they will be linear, so they should be pretty good for RL.

Are pro controllers really worth it?
if you play on PC just buy a controller from a different brand that isn't sony or microsoft. steam controller is decent but lengthy waitlist, gamesir's cyclone 2 is my main for rocket league, theres also the 8bitdo ultimate 2, gamesir g7 pro, leadjoy xeno plus, flydigi vader 5, or if you prefer play

There's cheaper options than Razer. Gamesir G7 Pro 8K, Flydigi Vader 5 Pro, or even Leadjoy Saber Plus or Xeno Plus... All under $100
