It kinda depends, how lit is your room when you game? Cause IPS (KTC/KOORUI) will show way more blooming, which you will perceive even more the darker the room is. The downside of the AOC will be a little black smearing, dont know if you ever owned a VA but it can look something like this - MAG 274Q

The advice youre getting is out of date. Grab the KTC M27T6 bro it sounds perfect for you. I have the 4k version and it's excellent. Watch some reviews and some setting recommendations as the out of the box settings aren't fantastic.

KTC M27T6 is a 1440p VA Mini-LED I think Monitors Unboxed did a review on. I have the M27P6 (4k IPS version) and have loved it so far. https://us.ktcplay.com/products/27-inch-180hz-hdr1400-miniled-gaming-monitor

Look for the KTC M27T6, it's the one I'm using, under $300 and with Full Array Local Dimming HDR1400. There's also some AOC models, the Q27G4XMN/ZMN and the older Q27G3XMN. All of those offer a real HDR experience.

Had it for 2 weeks and returned it. It's fine unless you're a color snob who wants 180 fps. Meaning no 10-bit @ 180hz. You have to go to 120hz if you want 10-bit RGB. My sample suffered from pretty bad VRR flicker too. Also the stand is garbage. Replaced it with a KTC M27T6 and honestly it's a much

KTC m27t6 seems like a great option. While also having its flaws of a va panel and supposedly losing brightness from possible overheating the price point is unmatched. I’m waiting for mine that I got for 270 after coupons on Amazon

I switched from the AOC q27g4n to the KTC M27T6 and just from the OSD buttons alone I'll never get another AOC. The buttons actually physically hurt my thumbs so bad. No dead pixels on my KTC. Its a dream.

AOC Q27G40XMN is much much worse, because of the DisplayPort 1.2 bandwidth limit, monitor just wont reach the speed necessary to operate correctly. So dont get that one. KTC M27T6 as it stands, it is the best mini-LED on the market next to AOC Q27G3XMN KTC M27T6 being new 2025 with new quantum dot t

I see a lot of reviews on bilibili about monitors with this panel... Almost get frustated as almost all are DP 1.2... But then KTC M27T6 has the same panel but DP 1.4 full... So, the culprit are the brands trying to cheap some cents...
