Hearing my system after spending the day shooting in a top recording studio

Have you ever sat in front of a proper, big pair of monitors? Not silly little KRK Rokits or nonsense like NS-10M's, but proper far-field's from someone like ATC, Dynaudio, Tannoy, Genelec etc? I would venture the answer is no. By far, the best speakers I've heard are big main studio monitors at the

What studio monitors do you recommend these days?

Hard to find good monitors to recommend on that budget. KRK rokits or Yamaha hs5 fit butttt they’re not really good

Opinion on KRK Rokit 5 G5

KRK Rokit Gen 5 monitors are a vast improvement over previous generations, according to audio critics. They have eliminated most of the issues criticized in the past. For example, they are much less artificially boomy and are much closer to accurate sound response. So don’t compare them with Gen 3 o

Help with buying studio monitors?

My take is: KRK Rokit: fake hype and lies HS5: clear accurate mids, no sub bass. Lean 305p: some beefy hype, plasticky front

What's the honest opinion about The Union Audio Elara 4 Mk2 against Xone 92MK2 and 96 ? Sound and fabrication quality ?

Monitor Selection

Really just depends on your budget mate...IMO studio monitors don't really work great for actual parties. They're near-field referencing monitors for music production...sound lush in the perfect sweet spot/triangle, but a) don't fill a space well and b) get drowned out by people chatter pretty easil

Let down by the Adam Audio T7V monitors

Hey, I agree with many of the comments here and have mixed feelings about it, even though I’m an ADAM fan. I use the A7V myself, along with a studio subwoofer. I’ve also had plenty of experience with the A5V. As for the A5Vs, I can say that I’m a huge fan of these little speakers; especially when yo

Studio monitor recommendation

Kali Audio LP-6. Really good monitors for what they cost. I have also owned KRK Rokit speakers and the Kalis are just better.

Can studio monitors still be enjoyable in an untreated room if mixing accuracy isn’t the primary goal? Looking for immersion and fun.

Why away from Mackie?I agree about CR series but MR524/624 sounds like better than Kali LP6 V2, Yamaha HS5/7, Adam T5V/T7V, JBL 305/306, KRK Rokit 5/7 Gen4 or Gen5. I don't refer Presonus and Tannoy because they are the worst
