Kobo vs Kindle
I’m a pretty dedicated Kobo owner but it’s largely personal preference. The Paperwhite is a really good device and Amazon’s ecosystem is very easy to use. There’s a reason that Amazon is basically the default ereader for a lot of people. I switched to Kobo for two reasons. First, the form factor of

New Kindle Feature Uses AI to Answer Questions About Books—And Authors Can't Opt Out
Kobos kobo libra colour is fantastic. Blows kindle out of the water and I won't be coming back to amazon again.

If you want page turn buttons, I just (2 days ago!) switched from Kindle to Kobo (Libra Colour). I’m loving it so far, especially the page turn buttons (and the fact the power button isn’t on the bottom where I accidentally turn off my kindle when I rest it against something). I also love that it do

Just got my first Kobo - kind of regretting it after years with Kindle
I switched from Kindle Oasis to Kobo Libra Colour and will try to answer some of your questions. You can change the screen zones from the settings, I can't remember what the default was but I have the whole middle part for the menus not just the bottom of the screen, and you can drag from the top to

I vouch for Kobo. I love my Kobo Libra Colour. And Calibre is pretty easy. I was able to download my entire Amazon library and convert them to a format for my Kobo. I think Amazon has stopped allowing you to download your library now, though. Oh also Kobo has integration with Libby/Overdrive. Makes

E-reader for fanfics
I have a Kobo Libra Colour and found downloading fanfiction from ao3 in Epub and putting it on there very easy to do - download and transfer to Kobo folder on laptop when it's linked. I tried to do the same with my friend's Kindle and the whole process was a lot more complicated.

What’s your favorite e-Reader and why?
Kobo Libra Colour. I don’t personally want an Android based e-reader since I prefer my reading be distraction free, so I’ve always been partial to a dedicated device. I love annotating and highlighting books in different colours with the stylus, the physical buttons and the streamlined interface. It

Anyone else using color e-reader only to read novels? Just because you wanna see the cover in color?
Me. I have a kobo libra colour as my only working e reader and so far only read novels on it. Love the colour covers.

What’s your favorite e-Reader and why?
Kobo Libra Colour. The built in Overdrive and Google Drive are handy. The UI is awesome. The ergonomics are much better than my Kindles. I’ve mostly stopped using Kindles now ( I’ve had them all including 1st gen and Oasis)

Long time e-reader user. I’m disappointed with a modern device
From what I’ve read is that Pocketbook is sub subpar compared to Kobo and Boox. I would be very careful drawing such drastic conclusions that modern e-readers are worse than older ones based on your two only ereaders… I have Kobos (Libra Colour, Clara B&W and Elipsa 2E) and all of them are snappy an
