What ereaders are good?

I have had numerous e-readers over the years but currently have a Kobo Libra Colour and it's my favorite so far. The integration with libby is fantastic.

Kobo vs Kindle

I’m a pretty dedicated Kobo owner but it’s largely personal preference. The Paperwhite is a really good device and Amazon’s ecosystem is very easy to use. There’s a reason that Amazon is basically the default ereader for a lot of people. I switched to Kobo for two reasons. First, the form factor of

New Kindle Feature Uses AI to Answer Questions About Books—And Authors Can't Opt Out

If you want page turn buttons, I just (2 days ago!) switched from Kindle to Kobo (Libra Colour). I’m loving it so far, especially the page turn buttons (and the fact the power button isn’t on the bottom where I accidentally turn off my kindle when I rest it against something). I also love that it do

Just got my first Kobo - kind of regretting it after years with Kindle

I switched from Kindle Oasis to Kobo Libra Colour and will try to answer some of your questions. You can change the screen zones from the settings, I can't remember what the default was but I have the whole middle part for the menus not just the bottom of the screen, and you can drag from the top to

New Kindle Feature Uses AI to Answer Questions About Books—And Authors Can't Opt Out

I vouch for Kobo. I love my Kobo Libra Colour. And Calibre is pretty easy. I was able to download my entire Amazon library and convert them to a format for my Kobo. I think Amazon has stopped allowing you to download your library now, though. Oh also Kobo has integration with Libby/Overdrive. Makes

Any eReaders That Sideload Only?

Turn wifi off? I have the kobo libra colour and I mainly sideload with Calibre. Sometimes I use it to read books from the library but as I mostly borrow audiobooks I don't use that that much on kobo. I've never bought anything from the kobo store.

Blogsnark Reads! November 30-December 6

I’m super excited because I am getting a Kobo libra colour for Christmas - technically my husband’s present to me that I already know about haha. I’ve wanted one forever because of the color, the buttons, and the library integration being way better than kindle. can’t wait! I also found the anti-bra

What’s your favorite e-Reader and why?

Kobo Libra Colour. The built in Overdrive and Google Drive are handy. The UI is awesome. The ergonomics are much better than my Kindles. I’ve mostly stopped using Kindles now ( I’ve had them all including 1st gen and Oasis)

Leaving Kindle, advice for new e-reader

Why ask ChatGPT about it? It can’t tell you anything your own research won’t conclude. AI complaint aside, I personally have a Kobo Libra Colour and I love it. I picked it because it has buttons, a good amount of storage, and a good size screen. I use it for manga and ebooks. It’s easy to sideload c

Kobo: Wich one to choose

This would depend on a number of things but looking your options some of the questions you need to ask are: - do I prefer a 6" or 7" - do I prefer a B/W or colour screen - do I care about physical buttons - where will I get my books from - do I want to have multiple reading apps on one device So if
