Please deinfluence me! Boox Palma 2
I have a Kobo Libra 2 and a Boox Palma 2. Pangit user interface ni Palma, and mas mabilis maubos yung battery. Cute siya tingnan and very handy... kaso i dont think it's worth the price. Bought mine sa shopee for 18.3k.... and hindi ko nasulit siya kasi I still prefer my Kobo over it. I kinda regret

Are really phone sized ereaders worth it? Can people use it daily and finish books in a regular basis?
i have read so many books on my smaller ereaders (former palma owner, own both the Xteink X4 and X3, as well as an Obook5). so long as you're okay with reading on the smaller screen, it's great to have something that's always in your pocket / bag / purse / on you in some way. Especially with the X4

Readers who use an e-reader: Kindle vs Kobo?
Clara is very overpriced in my opinion. It should have been around 10K. If you want to go Kobo, better get the Libra Color for extra 5K. You get an extra inch of screen, color and physical buttons. You will enjoy the buttons a lot. You can just keep your hand on the buttons and keep turning the page

What do you think about Pocketbook era lite?
I myself relatively soon decided against colour eink when looking for my device, based on informations I've found in the web, but also (and especially) because I can everyday go to a store and test eink devices out (basically the current Kobo line-up, just rebranded). B/W eink is the way to go for u

I have the Kobo Clara BW, which I got to replace a Kindle Paperwhite that I had for a hot minute in early-2024 before they announced the KCBW. In hindsight, I should have just gotten a Kobo to begin with, given that their now discontinued Kobo Libra 2 cost the same as what I paid for my Kindle. As f

Kobo v kindle
Ya, that's fine, I'm not arguing that the Kindle is better for large custom epub libraries, I'm arguing against your point that the Kindle isn't a good fit for people living in other countries. I use Calibre too, and with the Kindle plugged-in you can transfer 100 books at once, super easily, and it

State of ereader and e-reading in India : personal journey and opinion on current state
If you are working on the support of a product, you care to make its accessories to be widely available. If you google it, you will find , though, apple 's first party premium accesories are not much worth to price, but remains a fairbit of market share and appreciation for this. One can just buy 1

Finally making the switch!
I prefer my Pocketbook Verse Pro Color to the Kobo Clara BW (which I owned prior). I only got the color version because Amazon had one used - mint for $135 (sold by Pocketbook, not a third party seller). I own 2 Pocketbook devices, and they sync beautifully, even sideloaded books. They also sync wit
