Are really phone sized ereaders worth it? Can people use it daily and finish books in a regular basis?
i have read so many books on my smaller ereaders (former palma owner, own both the Xteink X4 and X3, as well as an Obook5). so long as you're okay with reading on the smaller screen, it's great to have something that's always in your pocket / bag / purse / on you in some way. Especially with the X4

I have the Kobo Clara BW, which I got to replace a Kindle Paperwhite that I had for a hot minute in early-2024 before they announced the KCBW. In hindsight, I should have just gotten a Kobo to begin with, given that their now discontinued Kobo Libra 2 cost the same as what I paid for my Kindle. As f

Kobo Clara B&W vs Boox Go 7 BW vs Pocketbook nkpad 4
What do you plan to use it for? If just reading prose/fiction/novels/text-based non-fiction, and if you’re not already tied to a specific store/format (specifically: if you don’t have many Amazon-bought books) then the most obvious difference is in size. You can google for pictures to get an idea -

Trying to decide on upgrade from a dying Kobo Clara HD
The InkPad lite is already somewhat of an anomaly/outlier in the ereader space, because you likely won't find anything similar, so the combination of low tech + low price + 10" black & white screen. I stumbled - if at all - over device from 10" on mostly in the enote space (so random reviews). But s

Finally making the switch!
I have Kobo clara bw ( and had KLC and KCC, but returned these as colour somehow strained my eyes). Very happy with the device and I do take it with me on holidays as its waterproof, has warm light and its small and very crisp! However, I recently bought Boox go 7 bw as I wanted to access some kindl

Kobo Clara BW vs Clara Colour. First e-reader and I’m stuck 🥹
Like others have said. The colour isn’t the magic you think it is. I was torn like you, and bought the KLC. I find it is dark, and the colours are lame. You always need lots of backlight. I would prefer not to. I like the form factor though. However I have been using my ancient Kobo Glo HD again as

convince me to buy kobo clara colour instead of kindle coloursoft (or vice versa)
on the boox no app for me works as good as Moonreader (basic reading app on boox devices). i think the biggest issue for me is poor battery life on my go 6 (i recharge it every 4-6 days. i read with wifi off and brightness at minimum). i’d like to try a colour e-reader with better battery life (i do

DIM: BOOX Palma 2 Pro
I have tried several e-readers, Kindle Basic, Kindle Colorsoft, Kindle PPW, Kobo Libra Colour and Kobo Clara Colour. Muntik na din sa Boox Gen 2. I was tempted to try Palma before but I always find it too expensive. Di ko ma justify yung price nya talaga. 🥹 Especially if you're planning to read mang

Just bought Pocketbook Verse - what is it and why does it happen constantly?
Style wise there is no competition to the Verse at all, the Kobo Clara BW is definetly boring compared to it. But the Kobos more bulkiness (in literally any dimension, even how much sunken the screen is) makes it I guess more sturdier against letting it fall - not that you should let any eink device
