Since the annotations, lookups and searches are usually done in the middle of reading, I'd say it is 'in books' even if it doesn't occur on page turns. Neither of my devices experience noticeable ghosting on page turns. My Kindle doesn't experience UI ghosting either, whereas my Kobo does. I can't s
