Getting into Audio: Looking for Advice on Upgrading to Passive Speakers

It's a great amp for 2.0, not so great for 2.1. If 2.0 is the aim then you might look for a great pair of used a/d/s speakers (mine are the a/d/s 910 but their smaller speakers are also great and the a/d/s L810 are their most iconic). What would be the best speakers for my office setup?

I have Dynaudio towers that I commissioned 25 years ago and they were powered by a Conrad Johnson MF2500a most of that time (240/480wpc). I also own Parasound (75/150wpc) and NAD (50wpc?) amps, and those speakers always required the beans to boogie. They were fine, but came alive at higher volumes.
