If 2.0 is the aim then you might look for a great pair of used a/d/s speakers (mine are the a/d/s 910 but their smaller speakers are also great and the a/d/s L810 are their most iconic). I have Dynaudio towers that I commissioned 25 years ago and they were powered by a Conrad Johnson MF2500a most of that time (240/480wpc).
