New temporary house setup
$220 is a great deal for the older model. The RP-600M II are a clear improvement, but not for that difference in price. Keep in mind that the RP-600M (both older and new models) are huge and will take up a large amount of desk space. OP has the smaller RP-500M II.

New to turntable - help with set up for AT LP120xusb or alternatives
Get the Klipsch RP-500m II 100%, do not mess with the R50m. I sent my R50m back. The midrange is worth it on the RP. They are my daily drivers with a Fosi X2 and Sony STRDH190, very happy with that setup. Cant go wrong with Fosi.

Im looking for budget speakers for a small bedroom
I’d take a look at the Klipsch RP-500M II. They sound fantastic for the money and, in my opinion, look great too. You’ll need to pair them with an amp, but their high sensitivity means they’re easy to drive. If you’re on a tight budget, I’d go with a WiiM Amp. It should handle them nicely, and you a

Smoking Fluance RT85: Wrong Power Adapter used
Klipsch RP-500M II are ok when discounted at least 30% since Klipsch MSRP is rather overpriced. Klipsch and Ortofon are both on the bright side of neutral so you may want to switch one or both to warm or more neutral options if your ears are getting fatigued after an hour of listening. Klipsch can b

Hi, to start things off, I know nothing about how to properly hook up nice speakers, and I’ve just been gifted a set of Klipsch Rp-500M speakers. These are replacing what I can only describe as Sony boombox speakers from the late 90’s, so a big upgrade. I also received some 14/2 speaker wire to go w

Audio side quest
That is a large living room. Unfortunately the Klipsch speakers are rear ported, and I have mine on approximately 60 cm tall Target stands. I have an open plan main floor, my audio listening rig is at the top of the L in an L shaped floor plan where the long side of the L is approximately 14.7m long

Powered Speakers or Passive Speakers with an amp
Alright… a couple of options here. I don’t know anything about the UK, so the links are all to Amazon. For speakers, I’d really encourage you to buy a few versions and try them in your home and then return what you don’t like. There’ll be a restocking fee with Amazon, so read the fine print. There’l
