FWIW the Lintons fit perfectly on KLH Model Three stands. I didn’t care for the official Linton stands either.

Is Speaker Sensitivity the Main Factor for Low Volume Listening?
I have KLH model Threes, which are like 88db sensitivity, and 6 ohms. I'm driving them with 80 watts (into 8 ohms) from a Rotel a14mkII. What bookshelf speakers should I purchase for a warm sound?
KLH and Wharfedale are spot on. Even newer KLH kit has that warmth you get from a closed cabinet design. Model Threes could be an interesting thing to look at OP.

The Lintons would be a great option as a lot of the music you listen to is compressed or just of generally crappy recording quality, and the Lintons are forgiving of that. Speakers that produce room filing sound that is enjoyable even off-axis
Ive had KLH Model 3s for a couple years now, and they are very forgiving on placement.
