First Build: Good or not?

Nay, nay on the NV3. Once the good reviews came out for the NV3, Kingston started swapping controllers and NAND. The good ones were MLC, but the ones they are selling QLC now. There are six different version as of December. The accounting department meddling with the NV2 components resulted in some

B450 Pro4 - Need a new SSD and have a couple questions about my setup

No worries! Is that budget USD? You might be able to find something like a 500GB SN7100 in-budget. There are also drives like the Kingston NV3 or Crucial P310 although they use QLC flash rather than TLC so will have reduced write endurance and the write speed will fall off a cliff (potentially worse

Download Speed SO LOW on SSD Sata, is my SSD just ass or its a real problem?

It's a Kingston A400. No surprise there. Kingston (as well as ADATA) has been well known for "bait and switch" tactics, ie releasing a new SSD model with decent components, waiting for good reviews to come out, then switching to crappier/slower/cheaper components without any obvious sign of a change

Trying to build a pc with my son

This should be a pretty well rounded build. You could go with a 2TB SSD instead of 1TB, or you can add another SSD or two when prices come down. My only suggestion there is to avoid Kingston NV2 and NV3. The initial reviews were pretty good for both models and then Kingston's accountants started swa

Thoughts on My PC Build?

An X870 motherboard supports USB4, but has the same performance as a B850 one. Corsair is overpriced. The NV3 often uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. The NM790 uses better TLC flash. The 9070 XT is fine for these games; when in doubt, look at s

Help deciding between Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 9 9950X!

I'm not super up to date on the unreal rendering thing, most of what I do is just blender, so just keep that in mind. Anything remotely professional is going to favor nvidia. It sucks but it is what it is. For the MB, and this is big for art and sim people, odds are you have a bunch of low data devi

Would this build be sufficient for 4-8 years? (Gaming/Video Editing)

So buying a wireless wifi card is useless for my motherboard? Thank you for the SSD answer. I just found the Lexar 1TB that is cheaper and better than the Kingston NV3 (Lexar 1TB NM1090 PRO PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD)

Evaluation PC Avril 2026 - FRANCE

The 7600 and 7500f performance identical. I would personally get a motherboard with a better chiopset The a620 for example does not support pbo. The Kingston nv3 is trashy it's qlc which is known for becoming slow overtime. PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 3.7 GHz 6-Core

Us this a legit offering as it does seem a bit cheap

The P310 uses low-durability and low-speed QLC flash, so the comparatively low price is justified. (I would not want to install the OS on it if I wanted to use it for many years, but as secondary storage, it's fine.) The Kingston NV3 for the same price is worse. That one is cheaper: https://www.cybe
