O Tramontina manu

Best low budget espresso machine [200 and under]

If you’re just going to be making lattes a knockoff brand machine like casabrews will work. It has a pressurized basket so you don’t really need a high quality grinder. You could even use store bought pre ground as long as it’s for espresso machines. You’re not going to be getting great espresso tho

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread

Kingrinder K1 + Hario V60 will be your best bet. That combo and you’ll be able to make some absolutely delicious pour over. You do need a scale of some sort, and a kettle. You can make do with a regular kettle, since quality kettles are expensive, just maybe get one of those cheap milk thermometers

What's wrong with this grinder?

Grinder is very important but the aeropress is forgiving. You’ll be fine with this. It’s a burr grinder which is so much better than a blade. But if you’re only brewing for yourself and are ok with the little more time you might fight a cheaper Kingrinder like the K1 could give you a better grind. J

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread

For manual grinder the Kingrinder series is a fantastic value. Even the K1 is a solid grinder and a major upgrade from what you have. For powered grinder the Baratza is good, I would recommend going the extra mile and getting the ESP even if you don’t drink espresso, you might want to try at some po

Are burr grinders that necessary?

Good lord how long have you been drinking coffee ground this way? I've experienced a blade grinder, and it is pretty terrible. Any burr grinder at all is going to destroy the cups you've been drinking once you've got the grind setting dialed properly. In a way I'm a bit jealous because you get to ex

Happy with this stuff, it gives me good results. I use Aeropress filters and they're easier to clean. Recommend recipes for a medium roast.

It's great, I have a Kingrinder K1, I'm testing between 35 and 40 clicks, I like the results, but I'm still perfecting it depending on the coffee I have. It's great for travel, I can store it in the side of my backpack. However, I want to design a protective case in the future, like a leather one or

Recommendation for grinder [$100]

Can’t speak for the longevity yet but I’m happy with my Shador 64mm flat burr grinder. It’s about $150 on Amazon. It has a lot of plastic but has metal guts. You can also get some aftermarket burrs if you want to upgrade later. I bought it because I was getting tired of hand grinding with my Kingrin
