V3

I second buying from Amazon. I initially went for the v3 ultra 8k myself, but was unhappy with the fit & finish and so went to the Q3 ultra 8k. The switches are all 'fine' but, for me I was planning to upgrade switches and keycaps anyway. I'm a fan of the ZMK firmware. You can actually check it out

Re "...the source code has not been released": OK, the source code has now been released. The magic command line for compiling is (for V3 Ultra 8K 'ANSI'): west build -p -b keychron -- -DSHIELD=keychron_v3_ultra_ansi But it is still not known how the keyboard firmware can actually be flashed.

Tbh ZMK/QMK/VIA would be fine either way I'm not enough of a power user to care, I just want customisation without installing anything. I'm just wary of brands that don't respect QMK/VIA's licensing and I don't think Keychron is among them. Nuphy v2 and v3 actually have a huge battery life differenc
