Re "...bound properly on the Keychron website": What exact did you do? What keycodes/key names were bound to which keys on which layers? Help us helping you. The keycode is KC_MPLY (an alias of KC_MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE). Via, and probably the Via clone, only accepts the alias. The keycode can be entered using 'Any'. There is an equivalent using the UI (in Via, KEYMAP → MEDIA → Play (the 4th item)). In the Via clone, 'Any' is in tab "Custom" (sixth tab), last item
