Keyboard recommendations

Meh, every keyboard has its issues. I like to get a long warranty for any keyboards that feel pricey or risky so I know I'm covered. Amazon and eBay both offer them and they're affordable. I havent had any issues with the Q or V keyboards from keychron. I have a Q1, Q9, and V7 (which is my favorite

My weird little keyboard collection

Dropping the number row and going into 40 world normally means you are going for a compact tight motion profile with as little hand motion and finger spread as possible. The q9 however keeps pretty much a standard 60ish width an

It's not much but the concept has gotten me through one year and half of uni

Epomaker makes 40% keyboard for cheap and I've seen them do 50% sales just randomly on some of their keyboards, but if you want a better product you can look into keychron q9, looks sexy as hell

Are there any good silent out of the box mech keyboards?

If you are looking for quiet you should be looking for a gasket mount most likely. The q5 max has one so that’s a good start, but the available switches are all non-silent so you’ll have that cost to manage. I’ve got the q9 and the q15 and I like them a lot. I had a q6 a while back and didn’t like i

Help deciding on new work keeb

My favorite office keyboards are: Crush 80 Beta Pro with stock switches and aluminum plate. It's got a muted Thock that is smooth and comfy to type on. Neo70 with carbon fiber plate and Milky Yellow Pro V2 switches. I love this configuration so much, I'd be willing to solder the board and never thin

Is it worth getting a mechanical keyboard in 2025?

I’ll second that suggestion. I am a keyboard modder and own multiple keyboards. If you are just going down the rabbit hole of keebs, definitely check out the Keychron K2 HE. It looks gorgeous, feels absolutely delicious and sounds heavenly when you type on it. It is definitely worth the price, but w
