NuPhy killer or nah?
Depends on what you value I guess. My €130 Nuphy Halo 2 IO feels and sounds much better than my €225 Keychron Q1 Max... and the Nuphy doesn't have rattling stabs.

Why all the hate for Keychron?
Got a Q1 HE. About half a year in I got random key presses, sent it back, got a new one. A month in, the same thing happened. Definitely not a switch issue, as it happened even with the switches removed. I’m on my third one just because I love the look and feel of it, but won’t be buying any new Key

Very nice ... I'm afraid my Keychron Q1 is very dull - I just got it because I wanted a dedicated Mac set-up and my other keybs were configured for Windows. Everything is stock except the switches which I swapped for Kailh Deep Sea Silent Pro V2s to be quiet. The stabs could do with some work though

I have both the linear and tactile deep sea silents on two other boards. I really enjoy the feel on those. Keychron stabilizers really do need some work. I would actually recommend swapping them out for something else. I have Durock V3 in my Q1, and they are better.

just got a t480 as my first thinkpad…
I have a Keychron Q1 with Red switches, gasket, oring mod and re-lubed. I still prefer laptop keyboard... My Q1 is in a corner while I use an Apple Magic Keyboard. I only ever take it out for an hour, use it, get tired hands, abandon. There's just something about low profile keys man...

Why is the Q1 V2 barebone $69 but the Q1 Pro barebone $149?
Yeah maybe they are trying to get rid of old stock. Sounds like wireless isn't useful for you at all, in which case I do agree the Q1 V2 is probably better value for you. Especially if you are happy to mod the foams and stabilisers yourself (old stock Keychron stabs are pretty noisy).

My Q6 Max ordered from Keychron is arriving soon, how worried should I be?
I have a Q1 V2, a matching Q0 and a Q5 Pro. No issues on any of them. I ditched the keycaps and switches on all of them (my preference, no issues with either). My son loves the Bananas I gave him. I prefer silent tactile and have Boba u4s and Outemu Silent Cream Yellows now. My only issue ever was w

How do I remove the clicky sounding rattle in my spacebar?
you've been so helpful in every thread. just have to rant: i've had many pre-builts in the past and occasionally tried different keycaps and switches, but - now that i've dived in to research doing a custom or even a handmade keycap - the issue with my main Keychron Q1 Max's space bar is so wildly g

Why do my keys with stabilizers stick after installing my plate to my PCB? Just PCB with stabs + switch sounds and feels great. Once I install the plate, my keys are heavier, get stuck in the press-down position and feel awful. If I apply downward pressure on the plate, right above my spacebar, it f

Looking for a keyboard priorly for coding
at your price point, you don’t need to sacrifice on layout NOR sound to a pretty large extent IMO. I’ve never seen a 75% missing arrow keys and you just need to focus on “WK” instead of “WKL” if you want windows key. A lot of boards in your price point offer both as options. In fact, your budget is
