$200 Budget , Need Help Choosing or Building a 75% / TKL Keyboard
I would suggest to avoid those gaming brand on your list, they charge a premium price on their brand name and the gaming feature, while the typing experience is just average or below. Since you are looking for a mechanical keeb but not Hall effect, I assume you value typing experience more than extr

Why all the hate for Keychron?
Got a Q1 HE. About half a year in I got random key presses, sent it back, got a new one. A month in, the same thing happened. Definitely not a switch issue, as it happened even with the switches removed. I’m on my third one just because I love the look and feel of it, but won’t be buying any new Key

NuPhy killer or nah?
Depends on what you value I guess. My €130 Nuphy Halo 2 IO feels and sounds much better than my €225 Keychron Q1 Max... and the Nuphy doesn't have rattling stabs.

What's the best MECHANICAL KEYBOARD widely loved today?
the Keychron Q series is pretty much the gold standard for this right now. i use a Q1 for both work and gaming and it's fantastic - the gasket mount makes it sound really nice without being too loud. if you want something pre-built, the Lemokey L3 is another solid option from the same company. big t

G915X - 2 keyboards, 2 broken
I still like their mice, but I will never buy another KB from them. I spent a little more on a Keychron Q1 HE and have never been happier.

Evo75 or custom build?
If you generally like your Evo75, why not customize it further and see where you get? Starting from scratch is fun, but when you go fully custom, you really won't know how everything will sound and feel until you start putting the parts together and tweaking things. Years ago, I bought a Keychron Q1

Keychron Q1 HE 8K vs SU75 PRO / IROK MG75 PRO/MAX/V2
Absolute no brainer. su75 pro any day. Skip keychron completely. Irok mg75 V2 is a good choice in terms of performance but it's not a big difference from su75 pro in tests (at least not something a human can notice as much). Stability, feel, build quality and most importantly software matters way mo

Q1 max banana or Q1 HE (coding/productivity)
The Q1 HE is a treat to type on right out of the box. OSA seems to be the best feeling profile that i have used thus far. I bought a set of Keychron side-printed shine-through keycaps and the KEB looks great!

What is this garbage? Q1 Max
It is a well-known problem. There are nearly 200 reports in this subreddit. For example, from earlier today: 1-year old Q1 Max with double typing issues. #183. Your options are warranty (hopefully, you didn't buy it directly from Keychron), throw it in the bin in anger (but some might want to catch

Keychron vs wooting Keyboard recommendation
I've used a fair bit of HE software at this point. What stands out to me about wooting is just how long keyboards are supported with new features, how intuitive the software is, and how predictable it is. It sucks that there's no on-board macro support, but idk if many people care about that. I have
