Yeah I gave up and bought a Keychron K17 Pro for the slim factor and I haven't had an issue with it. The keys they sell for those are also pretty widely used and you can swap out the switches.

You can try Keychron, its an affordable mechanical keyboard brand, they've multiple options, if you need s wireless version you can look at they K series, I'm currently using a low profile model, the keychron k17 pro, that's a 96% layout, hot swappable with yellow switches.
