Re "told me to record a video of the test matrix in the Launcher. ... completely random ghost inputs, which I cannot reproduce on demand": I agree the requirement to become a videographer is ridiculous. And there is usually very little useful information in such videos But it is better to play along

I absolutely loved my K800. The Tab key died on me a few years ago and that key is essential for my job (which I used the keyboard for). I tried out dozens of keyboards, but couldn’t find a replacement. I finally decided to build my own and it was perfect, but I didn’t want to build one for everyone

I bought a K17 pro recently and have the same issue. I've looked at what others have posted here but not really a fan. I don't understand why keychron don't even stock the 'grey/orange' or 'black/grey/red' colour low-profile, shine-through keycaps for this keyboard. I managed to find plain black key

OK, the two inserted custom keycodes (which causes the shift of two) is for starting the two (Mac) applications Mission Control and Launchpad (allegedly replaced by something else in macOS v26 (Tahoe)). But they are only defined for these six keyboards: K5 Pro 105% K10 Pro 105% K15 Pro 85% On F3 and

Re "have a static color + reactive splash at the same time": That is a common request: Keychron V1 Max - custom light effect Keychron K3 Pro RGB lighting mode Gradient lighting Keychron V6/Q6 Reactive Simple with base color Keychron K10 HE RGB. The source code for K10 HE was finally released on 2025

Yeah I gave up and bought a Keychron K17 Pro for the slim factor and I haven't had an issue with it. The keys they sell for those are also pretty widely used and you can swap out the switches.

I have one of those too, not as old tho. I literally threw a 3kg candle onto it (tripped over my own feet lol) and the only thing that broke was a Ctrl key where the cross fitting inside the key itself broke. I just took the Ctrl key from an old steelseries keyboard. I only swapped to the logitech k

Re "the key will be one color and on press it changes to a new one and fades back to the original": That is a common request. It is #15 on the wishlist. Related: Are special lighting effects possible with Keychron K17 Pro? It might be possible with the existing RGB animation mode "Solid Reactive" (n
