Shine-through Keycaps Recommendations Request
Mine finally arrived. Not all the keys for my K17 Max are there, no function or numpad keys, the Esc keycap is horrible, so I didn't use it, and I'm still on the fence on the Tab, Caps, Shift, Ctril, etc. I may add them later. In any case, I had enough caps to build a Frankenboard. It works great, t

This worth the price? It’s in cad$ and I hate ordering online.
I loathe Keychron. I returned three of them within a week of buying them Q1 Max, Q6 Max, and K17 Max. They ate all very basic mediocre keyboards with run of the mill switches and, in most cases, those stupid SA keycaps. My very Meh Q6 Max cost as much as a Neo75 Cu. That’s crazy.

Nuphy sent me a broken keyboard, now wants me to buy a second keyboard
Don't know about Keychron's warranty, and certainly not in Europe/Germany, but in the US, I've never had a problem with them. In fact, I'm typing on a low profile K17 Max. It's been great. Hasn't gotten the shine either (yet), which I hate. Can't say the same for my Keychron M3 Mini steel mouse thou

Im about to pay $90 for Keychron K7, Is it worh it?
Re "what you think": This is going to be biased I wouldn't choose a low-profile keyboard: I can't get used to the flat keycaps: Too much mistyping. Though they could theoretically be replaced with normal profile keycaps—the MX stem is the exact same. The K17 Max is still quite heavy with its alumini

Regret buying my nuphy
Dude… 1000% Never in my life have I had more typos than on my Nuphy Air96 v2. Not only are the keycaps large and/or oddly close together but they’re all in the same plane, so there’s no distinct elevation difference between rows. This made a difference for me. I switched to a keychron k17 max and it

Just upgraded my desk setup with the NuPhy Air Series keyboard—and I’m seriously impressed.
I also have an Air96 v2 and it’s the worst typing experience I’ve ever had. More typos than any other keyboard. I blame either the minimal spacing between keys or the oddly large keycaps (it’s def not me…) Switched to a keychron k17 max and am much happier. Can finally type without frustrating error

Mechanical keyboard for MacOS ?
My Keychron K17 Max works great with both Windows and MacOS. It has a switch you can set to which OS you are using and you can program the keys as well as easily change the keycaps to the correct keys depending on the OS.

where to buy low-profile abs keycaps in US?
Please bring this back in stock! It is quite frustrating to buy such an expensive keyboard (K17 Max) and not get any shine through caps for it!! Low Profile ABS LSA Full Set Keycap Set – Keychron

Cheers for that. I was already looking at Keychron, but was a bit overwhelmed by all their different options. I was looking at the Keychron K1 V6 (QMK) because of the shine-through, but it has ABS caps and no numpad. Alternatively is the K5 SE, K5 Max and K17 Max. Lofree unfortunately doesn't have a
