Fixing my MX Keys - making a tiny "hook" to hold one of the key hinges
Tx to the shopping option of chatgpt, I founded the keychron k17 max that seems to check all my checkoxes : low profile, hot-swappable, num pad.

Worth getting a proper mouse or keypad early on?
Oh I bought most of this as an ST1/2 so can't perfectly remember. Mouse - Logitek G502 hero. Went for wired. Must have onboard memory because of NHS BS. Mic - Hollyland Lark M2 Wireless... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CRKY7RSN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I tried a Bluetooth headset first, but again NHS BS

Which low profile 96% keyboard should I buy?
Lofree Flow 100 - Feels and sounds good to type on (creamy). Lack of customizability (only on Windows) cheaper too Keychron K17 Max - Looks better imo. Just average on feels, and the sound is on the clacky side. Infinitely customizable with VIA (browser based software)

Is getting a keychron worth it anymore
I recently picked up a K17 Max. I did swap out the switches to Gateron KS33 Chocolates at a cost of £37/$45 ish after a switch failure after a couple months. MX alternatives - keyboards for multiple devices

It’s low profile, mechanical, hot swappable, and of hybrid aluminum/ plastic construction. It has tri-mode connectivity. It is also VIA/QMK con

Need help finding a keyboard
Oh boy, that's pretty specific. I think I would go for a hotswappable Keychron K5 Mac or K17 Max here and change the switches if you find them to be too loud. Alternatively, if you can live with low-profile keycaps on normal switches, it would broaden your options quite a bit. Picture demonstrates t

Looking for a keyboard to use across windows and macos
If you want mechanical then Keychron is the obvious choice. If you want high profile and need a numpad go for the Q5 Max or V5 Max. If you don’t need a numpad Q1 Max or V1 Max. For low profile go K3 Max with no numpad or K17 Max if you need a numpad. If you don’t want mechanical then the Logitech MX
