I own a Keychron K13 Max QMK since few months and never faced an issue like the one you describe. I guess it is a faulty one and they should replace it for a good one. Let us know what their support says and the solution they propose.

Just got a k13 Max as a travel keyboard for work and got used to it seemlessly. Same gripe with the keycaps not being shinethrough (annoyingly a UK-ISO layout keycaps are hard af to find). Haven't had the double presses yet. The keyboard itself seems great, but i think it is just Keychron's support

My coworker purchased the E-YOOSO Z-99 with Outemu Greywood switches from Amazon and I fell in love with the creamy sound. Keychron K13 Max is pretty close so I might just get that. I’m also totally fine with not have f-keys. Hotkeys are a-okay. And iirc I can map the keyboard as I see fit?

check keychron.de (or whatever country domain it is where you at), they ship from China, takes 2 weeks to arrive in europe. But some local vendors/shops have them too (like Alternate). Silent option is with red switches. Can't tell about longevity of my Keychron K13 Pro, but its first 6 month or so,

I went through four keyboards before I landed back on a Keychron for a travel keyboard, and immediately got used to it. Have had only two issues: sometimes on bluetooth, I'll get repetitive keystrokes. Not just like a double-type. Sometimes like it holds the key down. I think this is more specifical
