Kef R11 vs Dali Ikon 8 - how to get a good sound out of R11?
If you're used to the sound from the Dali, KEFs may sound bad to your ear, the same way most of KEF owners find B&Ws shouty. Yep, a couple weeks ago, there was a guy who posted here saying he was a huge B&W fan and wanted to know which KEF speaker he should buy that would sound the most similar. I k

Similar here. Tried ML F10 but second speaker 30 miles away bb was all broken. Picked Kef q11 meta there but were too big and didn’t play to my liking. Ended up with B&W 603 s3 (800$ pair), denon x1800h ($400) and ML sub F10 (200$). Very much wanted the ML pair. But am happy with my 2nd set of b&w!

Eye opening speaker comparisons
After reading reviews I planned on purchasing a pair of KEF Q11 Metas, after listening to them I bought a pair of Martin Logan F10s. The KEF's sounded dull and muted.

But at least in the case of KEF R11 Meta that’s slightly far off. (One speaker, 1m, in-room or anechoic calculations.) For R7 Meta the values are clos

Decided to bite the bullet and measure my room. Looking not too bad? Thoughts?
I actually meafures my new q11 metas last night and got a shockingly similar graph. For me it's too much treble roll off and too much 40-100hz boost. I run them off a Yamaha as801 and with the tone controls was able to boost the treble flat but the bass is harder to tame. I don't have side walls any
