Active speakers like Klipsch the fives or passive speaker setup for turntable use?
I suppose you could also consider the ELAC Debut 3.0 DF63-BK (EAC review, EAC YT review) or ELAC Debut 3.0 DF53-BK. Then you don’t have to spend money on speaker stands. I don’t know if there are that great bookshelf speakers to consider. Maybe the Arendal 1961 Bookshelf (EAC review). But others lik

KEF Concerto Meta amp pairing
I am well aware of the price of KEF Q Concerto Metas, and I am not talking about 'thousands of dollars of room treatments,' I said, 'some room treatment.' And no, I have never touched a Hegel, nor am I bashing it (or the Arcam, Roksan, or Musical Fidelity), I am simply pointing out to the OP that th

KEF purchase (or not)?
I auditioned the KEF Q Concerto Meta recently for replacement home theater speakers. They were good, but I felt like certain frequencies were boosted. Ended up going with the Arendal 1961 Monitor instead. The audio quality in general seems deeper and cleaner with the Arendals.

Finally got stands for Q Concerto Meta
Late to the party but the SQ1’s are the stands that Kef lists as being for the Q Concerto Meta so you’d think the stands would have mounting holes to match holes in the speakers.

Recommendation - KEF Q11 Meta - Wharfedale EVO 5.4 - Bowers & Wilkins 603 S3
Haven't heard the towers you mention in the post, but i do have Marantz M1 paired with B&W 606 S3. While B&W sound is not for everyone these are a mighty little beasts. Still a bit bright to my ears and the mix matters a lot, but cutting treble 1 or 2 notches makes them fantastic. As for M1 i am sur

Thinking AT-VM95EN upgrade?
Ah yes, cartridge upgrade to go with the speaker upgrade! Which model tube phono preamp? The Ascend B-stock (can't even really tell them apart from A stock) are on holiday sale and usually sell out at some point and then may not be back on stock on sale need to wait until next year to get the sale p

Now my main listening room, yet somehow I still have a game running.
A few days ago i shared my desktop set, now sharing my main listening set that i use to watch (mostly TV series) and occasionally game on a sofa. In the pic, I had the LAiV Harmony DAC in for testing, but my main DAC is the Cyan 2 which I think is still really great. Source is DMP A8 and the amp is
