One and a half months with my DALI Oberon 1

I’m not who you’re replying to but I own a pair of Kef LSX IIs and Dali Oberon 5s and I easily prefer the Dalis. The Kefs are very accurate and have precise imaging with very good detail, but are also clinical in their presentation to my ears. The Dalis in comparison offer a much wider soundstage an

Thoughts on the new DALI KUPID bookshelf speakers?

Tested them on a Denon Home Amp, and together they sounded significantly better than KEF LSX ii, at least in my ears… Off course, the bass is limited, and there are better options out there, but probably not for the price.

I heard (almost) every KEF Meta speaker in existence, here are 8 key findings

If you ever have a chance to hear TAD speakers, especially the reference line, you’d hear what coincident speaker can actually achieve. When the Blade was first announced, I was super excited since the design looks ideal. This was the original Blade and Blade 2 I got to hear multiple times, so not t

Completed: Three-Band Speaker Setup

Love the imaging of the LS50 Metas, but can’t afford Blade Metas (for that full-range sound), so over the course of a couple of years gradually built a system that could try to simulate them on a lesser budget. Call it a sort of, “poor man’s Blade Metas,” if you will. Was never interested in the LS6

LSX II → LS50 Wireless II upgrade? Better option around $1700 USD / $2400 CAD for music in a 150 sq ft room?

I have a spreadsheet with powered and active speakers listed with dimensions and specifications at http://www.mcmullon.com/activespeakers.ods The LSX are desktop near field speakers and many reviews say they do not fill a room. A sub KC62 helps as gives them more headroom. alternatives include:- Kef

How satisfied are you with your KEF LS60s?

I went into a KEF store and listened to them and wasn't that impressed. I've got LSX II's and a KC62 at home and felt like my home setup thumps a lot harder. Tbf, this was in Japan and they played Nora Jones as the test track. I asked them to play some electronic music (Laurent Garnier) and they loo

Looking to buy speakers

KEF LSX II are definitely not going to fill a large room. They are SPL limited to near-field listening only. LS50wII would be better options for larger space.

Rate my setup…

I too am in IT sales (global VAR), with the KEF LSX II LT as my computer speakers. I opted for the Dell 52” 6k monitor, and just use the microphone built into the Logi webcam. Your lighting likely makes for a nice effect when on calls, but that’s all a bit too busy for my taste. Did you add a subwoo

Kef Coda W/LSX II LT vs Q150 with Wiim Ultra

Not sure which option OP went with. I was in a similar choice dilemma. Ordered the Kef LSX II LT online from costco for $799. They were not available in any of the stores. Simultaneously bought the KEF Coda W from a local store (Visions Electronics) for $1098 and connected that with a wiim mini thro

Kef LSX II LT or Teufel Stereo M2 to replace Devialet Mania

Please note that the KEF LSX II LT might struggle filling a large room. They aren’t meant for too long listening distances.
