Beolab 8s vs KEF LSX II for desk + future living room setup?
I have both. One set of Beolab 8 in my bedroom and one set as rear speakers to my Beovision Theatre in the living room. The Kef LSX II is used as desktop speakers in my office. Like @matteventu wrote above, the Beolab 8 are more similar to LS 50 Wireless II than LSX. The Beolab 8 can play louder and

Beolab 8s vs KEF LSX II for desk + future living room setup?
Beolab 8 compete with KEF LS50 Wireless II, not with LSX II. Between BL8 and LSX II at technical level, there's no comparison whatsoever, the BL8 are way better - that is, aside from personal preferences in sound signature. Between LS50 Wireless II and Beolab 8, the choice becomes more difficult...

R3 Meta vs Ls50 Meta + KC62
I got the LS50 Wireless II and a KC62 and it's amazing. I did have to plug an ethernet cable into it to stop it from losing the wifi connection over and over for no reason though

LS50 Wireless II - which subwoofer
I have a pair of SVS SB 3000’s connected to my LS50 Wireless II’s in my living room, and an SVS 3000 Micro connected to a pair of LSX II LT’s in my office and they sound great together.

Kef active speakers advice
The Kef app was buggy with the LS50 Wireless. They fixed the bugs in the LS50 II wireless but not for mark 1 users, who where left in the cold. LS60 dropped in price since launch and are end game speakers with or without the KC62 subwoofer. They can pump out 111db which is rock concert loud. The LSX

Kef coda w looking for receiver, subwoofer recommendations
A 10” or 12” subwoofer will be fine unless you’re into special effects movies. The KEF KUBE series is excellent. The Coda only has one subwoofer out port, so you’re stuck with one. If you end up liking powered speakers, you might want to check out the KEF LS50 Wireless II at some point. You can have

KEF Q150 + Marantz PM6007 vs KEF LSX ii
Why not LS50 Wireless II? That would be a more distinct upgrade on every level, especially with integrated and optimized amplification and wireless capabilities designed as a system and built that way. The LS50 W IIs have a bunch of inputs, optical, USB-C, AUX and HDMI eARC. Also, each speaker has a

I heard (almost) every KEF Meta speaker, here are my 8 key findings
I appreciate your writing a lot, thank you for that. Having owned a kef build kit together with my dad when I was 6. (4 speakers each, 1 m tall and about 45*60 deep. I yes have to hear better sounding speakers than those 2. Could be nostalgia or sentiment. But we had a top tier system. Harman cardon

Subwoofer setting with KEF LS50 wireless II
If KEF Control does not allow digital bass management (i.e., high/low pass filters), then the speaker will be running on full-range. I would set your app back to the default settings, connect the subwoofer, and then adjust the subwoofer low pass filter and volume for a smooth and seamless blend. Bas

New post as I’ve narrowed my search to these two speakers
B&W Formation Duo are excellent speakers but have poor latency which means they can't be used for YouTube, video, movies or TV. The Kef LS50 II wireless can be paired with KC62 sub-woofer Neither scale up to surround which some alternatives do. Neither have great apps for software but little is repo
